Class: Knight (Cursory Overlook)

Alright, let's break down what a knight actually is: he's a soldier/warrior who due to his loyalty to a particular aristocrat has been granted status and land.  Now granted, that's not exactly the most romantic description of a knight, as they are generally referred to as a gallant person clothed in steel riding atop a glorious white steed.  But in all actuality, knights could be terribly nasty people, and the idea of chivalry wasn't really even that common until after the fourth or fifth crusade, and that was only because of the French.  Also, chivalry was only shown to other members of the aristocracy, not the common folk.  So when making knights we can do it one of two ways: either they have the code, or they don't.

If we're trying to break the idea of "cliches" we would make them not chivalrous, but then what differentiates them from a warrior?  More of a focus on defense and tanking maybe?  I'm really not sure how to handle that, but we could try to give them a certain code of sorts to follow.

Anyway, here's what I think we should grant knights:
- Ability to use all weapons and armor, sans ranged weapons and light armor (Knights hated archers)
- Use of shields! (Maybe even a bonus to using shields)
- Slightly higher HP (+5?  Maybe slightly more than the Warrior)
- +3 to Handle Animal, Negotiation, and Knowedge (History)

Now for Knight's special abilities:
- Challenges: Or they can challenge enemies with mind-affecting things, based on the amount of Faith points they have.  These challenges will last as many rounds as their Bravery score:
  - Call - Out - forces the enemy to attack the Knight
     - If Knight wins, everyone gets some sort of boost, either to AC or Attack (+1)?
  - Frightening Challenge - Frighten all enemies in a 60 foot radius?
  - Inspiring Challenge - All allies within 60 feet shake off fear effects or gain +1 attack?
  - Loyalty - Prevent a mind-affecting spell that would cause you to harm companions?
  - Cunning Insult - During peaceful negotiation, insult an opponent in such a way that they attack you?
  - Holding Fast - After combat can expend faith point to heal self 1d6?

- Can prevent a person adjacent to him from taking damage, taking it for himself instead (once per round)
- Can sleep/move in armor like it's a second skin?
- Not affected by heat in armor?
- If using a shield, they can attempt to block ranged attacks?
- If mounted they get attack and damage bonuses? (+1 and +1d6)

If we go chivalrous, here's a sample Knight's Code:
- Cannot kill an enemy who has fallen prone (can still attack)
- Cannot kill an unarmed opponent ("armed" means monsters)
- Cannot attack unless attacked/challenged first (or if combat starts)
A knight who fails this, loses his Faith pool that day
